I am Aayushma Timalsina, a Geomatics Engineering student at Kathmandu University. I am passionate about spatial data, mapping, and GIS.
I am currently in my 7th semester of Geomatics Engineering, where I have gained hands-on experience in GIS, surveying, and remote sensing and also learning web development to broaden my skills.

Amenities around My Education
This map uses buffer analysis to show public amenities (like hospitals, police stations, etc.) around each of my educational institutions. Enter a buffer distance, click Apply, and the map will draw green circles around each school or college. Inside those circles, it counts and displays nearby amenities fetched in real-time from OpenStreetMap using the Overpass API.
Shortest Route from Home (Dhulikhel)
This tool calculates the shortest driving or walking route from my home in Dhulikhel to any of the institutions I attended. Select a destination and mode of travel, then click Show Route. The route is drawn on the map with estimated distance and time based on OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine).
